Leadership as Craft through the Six Principles Leadership Framework is a holistic approach to leading designed to help individuals progress in their leadership, and cultivate purpose, well-being, and productivity in both their personal and professional lives. The approach is a practical foundation and road map for those seeking to lead with greater clarity and intention. 

This approach has been shared in business schools, executive leadership programs, and in various organizational and coaching settings. Ben Galvin is a professor and leadership coach who has spent over 20 years studying and sharing the science of how people lead and thrive. An award-winning researcher and author, Ben’s work has been published in the leading management journals, focusing on topics such as leader identity, leadership emergence, overcoming the self, inclusive leadership, and the nuances of the motivation to lead.

  Ben developed the Leadership as Craft approach through the Six Principles Framework to help share some of the key things he has learned in an accessible way—combining his professional expertise in organizational leadership science with a lifelong study of the world's greatest thinkers and leaders. He hopes to help individuals move beyond theoretical knowledge to achieve ongoing improvement and well-being in their daily lives and effectiveness as formal and informal leaders.
